Kaylee must be feeling better. She bit me hard enough to draw blood when I gave her her antibiotics this morning. I whimpered and cried -- I hope it was enough to embarrass her because I really don't want to have to go through this twice a day for the next two weeks.

:-(

(Yes, I have had a tetanus shot recently.)

Oh, you poor babies, every last two- and four-footed one of you!

Yeah, the smells must be very strange, and of course, Kaylee isn't acting like herself, either. That much surgery all at once probably has her pretty zonked.

The vet is not a beloved family friend among my crew either. Fortunately the long time vet tech who has dealt with my crew, domesticated and feral, knows what to do, she wears leather gauntlets to even pick up the carrier. There was a new vet when I took Ringo in and she looked at Donna a little funny when she put on the gloves, but Donna showed her a faint scar on her arm and we both said "Lucy". Lucy was all black and she sliced Donna while still in the carrier by reaching a paw through the door.

All of the strange odors will take a while to go away, and Koshka will calm down, but it won't be quick.
