Good-bye, Babies

This afternoon, I’m taking Notdot, Hamster and Peachfuzz down to the local Humane Society where they will be able to find loving homes. It’s killing me because I love them, but I don’t have the money, the space or the energy to care for five cats. Two cats is pushing it.

If you can, go adopt a pet. If you can’t, at least visit a shelter and make a donation.

It’s sad to have to let them go, but it’s important to remember that you made the world a better place by taking proper care of Kaylee and seeing that her kittens will find good homes. Good for you!

Meanwhile, is that Hamster or Peachfuzz laying down at the front? The one with the incredibly long legs? The one that looks like a kangaroo? :)

That’s Peachfuzz. (Don’t you just love the stripes?) I was noticing his long legs and long tail the other day — you recall that he was the biggest when they were born, and he’s probably going to be enormous when he’s grown, as well as a champion jumper. Kaylee has gotten huge in the past 2 months, and she’s not done growing; Peachy will likely take after his mom in that department.

Notdot is pretty big, too, under all that fur. Chunky, with the tiniest little meow you ever (almost) heard. Hamster traded his brain cells for extra, extra toes, and Koshka is still petite, with extra large ears.

It’s sad, but you can’t adopt them all. One of my crew already has a new home when she demonstrates proper toilet training, but I need to find a home for one of the others.
