Coffee Klatche
Kaylee’s Krowd bellies up to the bar for their morning libations. Apparently, there’s not enough room under the bed for them any more.

I certainly wish Momcat would find another spot for the kids; having the tots running in and out from under the bed has been particularly hazardous for all of us lately. I’ve had a wicked case of the flu this week, and have not had the luxury, sometimes, of being able to watch where I’m going in the middle of the night. There have been no injuries so far, but at least a couple of close calls.

Wow, they’re getting big!
Hope you and Gary are feeling better.

Yeah, we’re feeling much better, if not quite 100%. I’m finally back on solid “food” — crackers and Rice Chex.
As for the wobbly-legged, rum-soaked pirates, they’re really getting into making mad dashes for the closet door and banging head-first into it. This drives Kaylee crazy.

They are really taking on weight.
Yes, with mobility looming, and the bathroom the best location for confining them, life could get interesting at my place.

I don’t really mind them running around, as long as Kaylee is still in charge of waste disposal, but they’re likely to take after their mom –who couldn’t be bothered to get out of the way of feet stumbling around in the dark. These days I jump about a foot if I tread on a sock, and the way I land is not particularly graceful. The potential for injury is high….

I don’t mind them but they haven’t been accepted by Dot, the alpha female, into the pride, and she has earned some consideration.
The other problem is fleas. We haven’t had a hard freeze in a several years, so they are bad. I’m flea combing Ringo because I stopped the Revolution when she was obviously pregnant to prevent harming the kittens. The bathroom is the best place to control fleas as it has vinyl tile.
